7. Subscriptions & payments
7a. Refunds & cancellation
Pay-as-you-go challenges (€2,99). Once your challenge has started — meaning at least one participant (including you) has joined and the clock is running — the service is considered fully delivered. No refund is owed for started challenges under EU Directive 2011/83/EU Article 16(m) (digital content supplied immediately with consumer consent). We confirm this by showing you a waiver statement at the point of payment, which you must accept before proceeding.
Pro monthly subscription (€8,99/mo). You may cancel at any time via your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then. Challenges already active at cancellation always run to their scheduled end date. The same 14-day withdrawal waiver applies to the first month's payment if you started a challenge immediately after subscribing.
Refunds we do give. If a challenge fails to start due to a technical fault on our side, or if we terminate your account without cause, you are entitled to a full refund for any charges in that billing period. Contact hello@startdoin.com within 30 days.
Free challenges. Free challenges carry no payment and therefore no refund right or obligation.

10. Limitation of liability
User-generated challenges: DOIN' is not responsible for the content, design, or safety of challenges created by users. We do not endorse, verify, or supervise any challenge activity. Participation in any challenge is entirely at your own risk. If a challenge involves physical activity, you are responsible for assessing your own fitness, health, and ability to participate safely. DOIN' accepts no liability for injury, illness, psychological harm, or any other consequence arising from participation in a user-created challenge.
Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
