Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Start Doin' ("DOIN'", "the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. One account per person. You must be at least 18 years old to use the app.

Challenge stakes are social only. No real money changes hands within the app. Stakes are plain text descriptions agreed between participants (e.g. "loser buys dinner"). DOIN' does not facilitate, enforce, or mediate any real-world stakes between users.

All proof photos are timestamped server-side. The server timestamp is authoritative and cannot be manipulated by the client. By uploading a photo, you confirm it is your own original content and does not violate any third party's rights.

Challenge results are permanently recorded on participant profiles. This is a core feature of the app. Completed challenge results cannot be hidden or deleted by participants. Account deletion anonymises your identity but retains challenge records for other participants.

You must not upload or share content that is:

• Illegal, harmful, threatening, or harassing.
• Sexually explicit or pornographic.
• Fraudulent or intentionally misleading (e.g. fake proof photos).
• Infringing on intellectual property rights.
• Containing personal information of others without consent.

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules.

Free users can create 7-day challenges with up to 8 participants. Pro subscriptions ($4.99/month) unlock extended durations and larger groups. Subscriptions are managed via RevenueCat (mobile) or Stripe (web). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period. Refunds are handled per the policies of Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Stripe.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.

DOIN' is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Riga, Latvia.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
